Thiabendazole is an systemic fungicide. It conducts upward but not downward. With a long duration, it shows cross-resistance with benzimidazole fungicides.

Thiabendazole inhibits Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, and Deuteromycota. It prevents fungal diseases in multiple crops and preserves fruits and vegetables. It's efficient, broad-spectrum, and internationally used.
For crops and economic plants, Thiabendazole controls diseases like rice bakanae, rice blast, citrus blossom blight, cucumber and strawberry powdery mildew, strawberry and grape gray mold, and celery sclerotinia leaf spot.
As an industrial antifungal, it prevents mold in feed and paint. It also serves as an antifungal and antiseptic for textiles, paper, leather, wires, cables, and commercial products.

Thiabendazole also works as an anthelmintic for humans and animals.
