Nitenpyram is a nicotinamide insecticide characterized by its excellent systemic action and penetration, broad insecticidal spectrum, and safety without causing phytotoxicity. Similar to other neonicotinoid insecticides, nitenpyram primarily acts on the insect nervous system by blocking the synaptic receptors of pests. After spontaneous discharge, it enlarges the transmembrane potential difference and ultimately reduces synaptic membrane stimulation, leading to the disappearance of axonal synaptic membrane potential channel stimulation in the nerves. Consequently, the pests are paralyzed and die. Nitenpyram can be used to control piercing-sucking insects such as whiteflies, aphids, pear psyllids, leafhoppers, and thrips on rice and greenhouse crops.

MudyBio's Nitenpyram 98%TC is a raw material for the processing of pesticide formulations and must not be used directly on crops or in other places.

Mode of Action	Systemic with translaminar activity, stomach and contact action affecting insects nervous system. No long term activity. Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) channel blocker.

Solubility	High soluble in water and some organic solvants, such as Methanol, Chloroform, Acetone and Xylene.
Toxicity	The acute oral LD50 for male and female rats is 1680 mg/kg and 1575 mg/kg, respectively; for male and female mice, it is 867 mg/kg and 1281 mg/kg, respectively. The acute dermal LD50 for both male and female rats is greater than 2000 mg/kg. The inhalation LC50 for rats is greater than 5.8 g/L. It has no irritating effect on rabbit skin but causes mild irritation to rabbit eyes. Animal tests have shown no teratogenic, mutagenic, or carcinogenic effects. The LD50 for quails is 5620 mg/kg, the LC50 for carp is greater than 1000 mg/kg (96 hours), and the LC50 for water fleas is 10000 mg/L (24 hours).
Use	It is primarily used to control sucking insects such as aphids, thrips, and whiteflies on rice and in greenhouse crops, but it also serves to kill external parasites on livestock and domestic pets. It is effective against fleas and ticks, making it suitable for use in veterinary situations, rice fields, and greenhouse crop management.
