Tebufenozide is a novel non-steroidal insect growth regulator and a newly developed insect hormone-based insecticide. It exhibits high insecticidal activity and strong selectivity, being effective against all Lepidoptera larvae and particularly effective against resistant pests such as Helicoverpa armigera, Pieris rapae, Plutella xylostella, and Spodoptera exigua. It is safer for non-target organisms. Tebufenozide is non-irritating to eyes and skin, and has no teratogenic, carcinogenic, or mutagenic effects on higher animals. It is very safe for mammals, birds, and natural enemies.It is mainly used for the control of pests such as Aphididae, Cicadellidae, Lepidoptera, Liriomyza, Tetranychidae, Thysanoptera, Meloidogyne, and Lepidoptera larvae including Grapholitha molesta, Lobesia botrana, Spodoptera exigua, etc., on citrus, cotton, ornamental crops, potatoes, soybeans, tobacco, fruit trees, and vegetables. This product is primarily effective for a duration of 2 to 3 weeks. It has a specific effect on Lepidoptera pests.
