What is Nicosulfuron?

Nicosulfuron is an endosorption-transmitted sulfonylurea selective herbicide, which can be absorbed by plant stems, leaves, and roots and rapidly transmitted in the xylem and phloem. By inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase, it hinders the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids, leading to the deficiency of valine and isoleucine, thus affecting plant cell division, stopping the growth of weeds, and eventually causing their death.
