Kresoxim-methyl, a semi-systemic methoxyacrylate fungicide, functions by blocking electron transfer in the mitochondrial respiratory chain to inhibit cytochrome synthesis, disrupting the electron transport and preventing ATP synthesis in pathogen mitochondria. Upon spraying, its lipophilic particles evenly adhere to the waxy leaf surface, forming a stable gaseous protective layer through gaseous diffusion. With penetration and mobility, it distributes evenly through the leaves. This fungicide can be applied to cereal crops, rice, potatoes, apples, pears, pumpkins, grapes, and other crops, offering protective, curative, and eradicative activity against most diseases caused by Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, deuteromycetes, and Oomycetes. Formulations are effective in controlling powdery mildew and downy mildew on melons, fruits, and vegetables. 

MudyBio's Kresoxim-methyl 98%TC is a raw material for the processing of pesticide formulations and must not be used directly on crops or in other places.

It is particularly effective against strawberry powdery mildew, melon powdery mildew, cucumber powdery mildew, and pear scab.
