Metalaxyl is a phenylamide fungicide. It's highly effective, low in toxicity, and leaves minimal residues. As a systemic fungicide, it quickly absorbs and penetrates. Within 30 minutes, it moves through the plant. It protects and treats diseased plants. Its effects last a long time. Metalaxyl halts protein synthesis in fungal hyphae. This causes nutrient deficiency and growth failure, leading to fungal death. It treats downy mildew, Phytophthora diseases, and Pythium issues. It works on crops, fruits, vegetables, and millet. 

MudyBio's Metalaxyl 98%TC is a raw material for the processing of pesticide formulations and must not be used directly on crops or in other places.

Mode of Action	Systemic with curative and protective action, acts by suppressing sporangial formation, mycelial growth and the establishment of new infectons. Disrupts fungal nucleic acid synthesis - RNA ploymerase 1.

Solubility	Water solubility: 8400 mg/L at 20 ℃, and also highly soluble in Methanol, Benzene, Hexane and Toluene.
Toxicity	It is  a low-toxicity fungicide. The acute oral LD50 for rats of the active ingredient is 669 mg/kg, and the acute dermal LD50 is greater than 3100 mg/kg. It has mild irritant effects on eyes and skin, and is low in toxicity to fish, with a Trout LC50 (96 hours) of 100 mg/kg.
Use	Metalaxyl is a systemic fungicide with both protective and curative effects. It can be used for foliage treatment, seed treatment, and soil treatment, and is effective against diseases caused by Peronosporaceae, Phytophthora, and Pythium. It is mainly applied to including tobacco, potaoes, soybeans, onions, citrus, cucubits, tomatoes, cotton, ornamentals and turf.
