Spirodiclofen is a ketoenol acaricide. It appears as a white powder and with no special odor. It exhibits contact toxicity and lacks systemic absorption. By inhibiting lipid synthesis, it effectively kills mite eggs, larvae, and nymphs, but it is ineffective against adult mites. However, it does have an inhibitory effect on the egg-laying and hatching rates of female mites.

Use	A foliar applied acaricide. It is effective against a variety of sucking insects on fruit and nuts. It can control pests such as mites, pear suckers, scale insects, earwigs, aphids, and whiteflies. This acaricide is applicable to a wide range of crops, including fruits like apple, pear, grape, peach, apricot, nectarine, orange, currants, citrus, and berries, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers, almonds, and coconuts.
