D-Phenothrin has both contact toxicity and stomach toxicity effects on insects, with a broad insecticidal spectrum. Its lethality to pests is 8.5 to 20 times higher than that of pyrethrum-based products. It has a remarkable control effect on the stored grain pest Rhyzopertha dominica and the paddy field pest Nephotettix cincticeps. It can be widely used for the prevention and control of pests in households, warehouses, public health facilities, and industrial areas.
