Ethoxysulfuron  is an endosuction selective soil and foliage herbicide. The active ingredient is a slightly sweet-tasting, white to light brown fine powder. It can control a wide range of broadleaf weeds and sedges in rice paddies,cereals and sugarcane corps, including Monochoria vaginalis, Scirpus triqueter, Fimbristylis milliacea, Cyperus difformis, Cyperus iria, Eleocharis acicularis, Cyperus serotinus, Scirpus juncoides, Heleocharis plantagineiformis, Potamogeton distinctus, Alisma orientale, Eclipta alba, Sagittaria pygmaea, Sagittaria trifoliata, Sagittaria sagittifolia, Lycopus lucidus, Bidens pilosa, Juncus effusus, Ludwigia prostrata, Polygonum nodosum, Polygonum punctatum, Ammannia baccifera, Ammannia australis, Spirodela polyrhiza, Eriocaulon buergerianum, and many others. It features a broad application window, ease of use (suitable for both pre-emergence soil treatment and post-emergence foliage treatment of weeds), long duration of efficacy, and good safety.
